As a locomotive driver category A overhead line maintenance vehicle (FZM), you carry out maintenance and renewal work on overhead line systems and operate the overhead line maintenance vehicle in a two-person team. You prepare the machine for use and ensure a smooth and safe workflow with your technical skills and a high level of safety awareness. What you can achieve.

• In this exciting role, you operate the overhead line maintenance vehicle (FZM) to carry out maintenance and renewal work on overhead line systems.
• Preparing the machine for the shift is also part of your duties, as well as supporting the regional overhead line teams if required.
• Operating the overhead line maintenance vehicle requires independent work but is always done in a two-person team – teamwork and clear communication are therefore essential.
• With your know-how and manual skills, you can handle various work equipment, with safety being your top priority.

What you bring with you.

• You are a team player with a strong safety awareness and enjoy continuously developing yourself professionally and personally.
• You are physically fit and enjoy working outdoors. Irregular working hours including night and weekend work are part of your daily routine.
• You have completed training as a locomotive driver VTE category A and have already gained practical experience in shunting.
• German language skills (level B2) in spoken and written form are required and you hold a category B driving licence.
