About the job
The Department of Aging and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of the City of Winterthur in the five senior centers as well as with Spitex. We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain first experience in the service area in a limited assignment for 6 - 12 months starting August 1, 2026, or by arrangement at the Neumarkt Senior Center.Your Tasks
- Support in service by attending to our residents and guests
- Assistance with daily dining room cleaning
- Assistance with food preparation
Your Profile
- Desire to gain first experience in the tasks of a catering operation
- Enjoy working with people and have an independent personality
- You bring commitment, teamwork skills, and motivation
- Willingness to work different shifts as well as on weekends and public holidays
- Understanding of the Swiss dialect and possess oral German skills
