Department Manager
Gardening - Horticulture - Floristry | Kriens | 80% | from 01.01.2026 or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Management of the Dorfgärtnerei Kriens department (6-day operation) with the areas of floristry, outdoor sales as well as horticulture/garden maintenance
- Leadership and support of a 12-member team as well as 20 employees and trainees with disabilities
- Responsibility for budget, planning, organization and further development of the department
- Professional support and active participation in daily business
- Ensuring the social mission while considering economic requirements
- Maintenance and expansion of customer relationships as well as close cooperation with suppliers (including Klostergärtnerei Baldegg)
- Organization and implementation of sales-promoting events
- Willingness to work on Saturdays
Your profile
- Basic EFZ training in the green sector with several years of professional and sales experience
- Higher education degree in the subject area and/or in work pedagogy
- Leadership experience, ideally with corresponding further training
- Customer-oriented sales personality with strong communication skills
- Structured, independent and responsible way of working
- Enjoyment of customer contact as well as a dynamic and varied working environment
- Motivation in supporting and promoting people with disabilities
- Confident expression in spoken and written language
- Very good MS Office skills, proficient in handling digital media and experience with ERP systems
