The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is a leading intercantonal hospital, bringing together more than 2,500 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatric and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To complete our interdisciplinary team in geriatric rehabilitation at the Monthey site, for an indefinite duration, we are looking for a:
Specialist in Adapted Physical Activity (APA) M/F at 100%, with experience in the geriatric field
The main duties of this position are
- Ensure the quality and continuity of inpatient and outpatient therapies
- Collaborate in organising work and the smooth running of the service's activities
- Participate in the supervision and evaluation of students and trainees
- Contribute to an interdisciplinary approach to care and teamwork
- Promote physical activity within and outside the institution
We require
We require:
- A Master’s degree in Movement and Sport Sciences, specialising in Adapted Physical Activity in health, or an equivalent qualification
- Full recognition by the Swiss Red Cross for foreign qualifications (applications without recognition or pending recognition will not be considered).
- A willingness to acquire and develop new skills
- An open and dynamic personality, eager to integrate into the existing team and collaborate with professionals from various departments
