CNC Milling Operator (m/f/d) Medical Technology

To strengthen our team in Grenchen, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed individual as CNC Milling Operator (m/f/d) Medical Technology in a permanent full-time position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The selected person is responsible for operating and monitoring CNC milling machines to manufacture components for medical implants. The scope of duties includes:

• Operating and monitoring CNC milling machines according to work instructions, production orders, and process specifications
• Loading the machines with raw materials and removing the finished parts
• Ensuring a smooth and efficient production process
• Monitoring ongoing production and early detection of process deviations and machine malfunctions
• Performing series, in-process, and quality inspections according to test specifications
• Checking the manufactured parts for quality, dimensional accuracy, and surface condition using measuring and testing equipment
• Documenting test results and recording production and quality data in the MES system
• Identifying, reporting, and documenting quality deviations and production events
• Properly labelling and segregating defective or conspicuous parts according to specifications
• Performing simple machine checks and minor troubleshooting within the scope of qualification
• Supporting setup personnel and technical departments as needed
• Ensuring order and cleanliness at the workplace according to 5S principles
• Complying with all quality, safety, hygiene, process, and compliance requirements in a regulated medical technology environment
• Close collaboration with production, quality assurance, and engineering to ensure high product quality

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in operating CNC machines, ideally in milling
• Technical or mechanical training is an advantage
• Technical understanding and interest in CNC manufacturing processes
• Experience with measuring and testing equipment
• Careful and quality-conscious working style
• High sense of responsibility and reliability
• Independent as well as team-oriented personality
• Good PC user skills
• Willingness to work in 2- to 3-shift operation
• Experience in medical technology, precision manufacturing, or a regulated production environment is an advantage
