The women’s clinic of a central hospital in the German-speaking part of Switzerland offers a broad spectrum in gynaecology and obstetrics. In addition to conservative and surgical treatment of gynaecological diseases, the care of high-risk pregnancies and premature births is part of everyday clinical practice. This provides a versatile environment where you can contribute your previous experience and specifically expand your skills.

A very experienced medical team is at your side for your start. You will carefully learn the procedures and particularities of Swiss hospital daily life and gradually grow into your responsibilities. Your further professional development is also supported - with personal guidance and opportunities for further training and education.

Your tasks:

• Care of gynaecological and obstetric patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Support of high-risk pregnancies and births as well as assessment of complex obstetric situations within the team
• Performing gynaecological operations according to your level of training and gradual expansion of your surgical experience
• Participation in senior consultant on-call duties after thorough induction
• Guidance and support of junior doctors in clinical daily life
• Close collaboration with midwives, nursing staff and other specialist disciplines

Your competencies:

• Completed specialist training in gynaecology and obstetrics, for example in Germany
• Solid clinical training, ideally at a university hospital or a medium-sized hospital with a broad range of care
• Experience in obstetrics including care of high-risk pregnancies
• Interest in a versatile senior consultant role in gynaecology and obstetrics
• Responsible working style and willingness to continuously develop your skills
• Enjoyment of professional exchange and a trusting collaboration within the team
