Production Manager 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Comprehensive personnel management and development of a team of approx. 70 employees in a state-of-the-art, automated wood processing plant

• Strategic and operational management of the entire production department with responsibility for smooth operations and quality assurance

• Continuous optimisation of products and production processes to increase efficiency and profitability

• Implementation and further development of a digital operational data acquisition system for process optimisation and quality control

• Coordination of all production processes and interfaces with other departments

• Personnel, technical and organisational leadership of employees with a focus on team building and employee development

• Systematic analysis and optimisation of production technology taking into account the latest developments

• Ensuring and continuous improvement of occupational safety standards and compliance with all relevant regulations

• Active participation in shaping the company strategy in the area of production and manufacturing

• Responsibility for meeting production targets, deadlines and quality standards

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed technical vocational training, ideally with further training as a technician HF or FH

• Proven success as a production manager with several years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

• Fluent German in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage

• Sound knowledge of automation technology and control systems

• Experience in project and warehouse management

• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and lead a large team in a goal-oriented manner

• Structured working method with analytical thinking and attention to detail

• High resilience and proactive work attitude

• Passion for continuous process optimisation and quality assurance
