To strengthen our team in Grenchen, we are looking for a dedicated individual as a CNC Operator (m/f/d) Medical Technology in a permanent full-time position, starting immediately or by arrangement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The selected person is responsible for operating and monitoring CNC manufacturing machines to produce medical implant components, especially screws and plates.

In addition to manufacturing activities, careful documentation of production and quality data is an essential part of the role, accounting for around 50% of the responsibilities.

• Operating, setting up, and monitoring modern CNC manufacturing equipment to produce highly precise implant components such as screws and plates
• Ensuring smooth production processes while adhering to work instructions and quality standards
• Conducting in-process inspections and quality checks using appropriate measuring and testing equipment
• Experience in an industrial production environment, ideally in medical technology, precision manufacturing, or a similarly regulated industry
• Processing manufacturing orders and recording production and quality data in the MES system
• Active participation in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements within a regulated medical technology environment
• Supporting simple maintenance, cleaning, and inspection tasks on the equipment
• Collaborating with quality assurance, production, and engineering to continuously optimise processes

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed technical or mechanical vocational training
• Experience operating CNC machines, ideally STAR, Citizen, Tornos DECO, or comparable machines
• Technical understanding and interest in precision manufacturing
• Experience in an industrial production environment, preferably in medical technology or comparable sectors
• Confident handling of technical drawings, work instructions, and inspection documents
• Experience with measuring and testing equipment
• Good PC skills and a strong affinity for documentation
• Independent, reliable, and quality-oriented working style
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system and occasional Saturday shifts
• Team spirit and sense of responsibility
