We are looking for a Software Product Owner Industrial Rigs (m/f/d) to shape the further development of our software solutions for industrial calibration and automation systems. At Flowtec AG in Reinach, we develop innovative flow measurement technology and solutions for process automation as a Product Center. In doing so, we combine solid technical knowledge with close international collaboration.
What is the role about?
Would you like to develop the product vision for software solutions used in industrial calibration and automation systems? Are you enthusiastic about understanding the requirements of various departments and translating them into clear priorities for an agile development team? Would you like to design an intuitive user experience while keeping technical feasibility, quality, and economic goals in mind? As a Product Owner, you connect departments, product management, UX/UI, and software development, thereby laying the foundation for powerful and future-proof HMI and software solutions within our Product Center.
What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- Take on the role of Product Owner and Scrum Product Owner for a software development team in the Human Machine Interface (HMI) environment and be responsible for product success throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Develop the product vision and roadmap for HMI and software solutions for industrial calibration and automation systems and manage their continuous development.
- Capture, structure, and represent the needs of the requesting departments to the development team.
- Prioritise and maintain the product backlog and translate technical requirements into actionable user stories and product backlog items.
- Coordinate collaboration between software development, UX/UI, product management, and departments throughout the development process and ensure an intuitive user experience across various platforms.
- Assess conflicts between customer benefit, technical feasibility, quality, time-to-market, and economic requirements transparently and make balanced decisions.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Have a degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Bring several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Requirements Engineer in the field of industrial software, automation technology, mechanical engineering, or measurement technology.
- Master agile development methods, especially Scrum, and have solid experience in product backlog and stakeholder management.
- Capture and prioritise requirements from different departments in a structured manner and implement them together with development teams into clear, feasible solutions.
- Have experience in an industrial environment, ideally in automation, measurement technology, mechanical engineering, or Industrial IoT, and preferably have knowledge of a regulated or normative environment such as the pharmaceutical industry or legal metrology.
- Possess a strong understanding of user interfaces, user experience, and the needs of industrial users and communicate very well in German and English.
