We are the backbone of Switzerland and master the railways. With its employees, the Passenger Production Business Unit Rolling Stock Maintenance ensures the upkeep of trains and their components. The team, an integral part of this unit, actively participates in the repair and overhaul of mechanical components. As a team leader, you manage around twenty people and, together with your team, you directly contribute to punctuality and customer satisfaction. In this challenging role, you have the opportunity to drive major changes and develop your production team. What you can move.

• At the helm of production operations, you supervise and coordinate a mechanical team of about twenty people, ensuring quality and safety.
• A strong team culture takes shape under your leadership, fostering collaboration and engagement from everyone.
• Skills development is based on individualised training plans that encourage autonomy, commitment, and performance.
• In close connection with internal and external partners, you deliver components on time and maintain high quality standards.
• Continuous improvement progresses through the application of lean management and the KAIZEN and 5S principles, as well as conducting safety, quality, and ergonomics audits.

What you bring.

• Inclusive leadership and excellent communication skills enable you to inspire, motivate, and unite teams, relying on analytical thinking, a solution-oriented approach, and a sharp critical eye.
• Strong team management skills are essential, with a focus both on achieving results and developing employees.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP tools, combined with good knowledge of production processes and a solid KAIZEN culture, is an important prerequisite for this role.
• Several years of proven experience in team leadership within an industrial production environment are expected.
• A four-year apprenticeship in mechanics is required, ideally complemented by a Swissmem team leader training or equivalent. A diploma as a technician ES in processes is an additional asset.
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written (level C2), is required, ideally with oral knowledge of German at least at level A2.
