The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care in the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In education under the direction of Ms Sarah Tihanyi, Ms Sandra Widmer is looking for a Nurse HF in training for the Psychiatric Centre location in Herisau from 22.03.2027 or 20.09.2027.
Your tasks
- You take responsibility for your own learning process and reflect on it.
- You reflect on your own attitudes and engage with ethical questions.
- You communicate transparently, promptly and completely.
- You plan nursing interventions and orient yourself to the nursing and treatment concepts of the hospital network.
- You evaluate the effect and impact of your nursing interventions and document them completely.
- You carry out prescribed preventive, therapeutic and diagnostic measures.
- You shape communication and relationships adapted to the needs of patients and relatives.
- You pass on timely and precise information to the intra- and interprofessional team about the health status and developments of the patients.
That is why we want you
- You have at least a three-year basic education with a federal vocational certificate (EFZ), a specialised middle school diploma or the Matura.
- For the two-year training, you bring a federal vocational certificate (EFZ) as a health professional.
- You are characterised by strong communication and relationship skills.
- Networked thinking as well as a high sense of responsibility are among your strengths.
- In addition, you have physical and mental stability and maintain a professional approach even in demanding situations.
