Automation Engineer PLC (m/f/d)

Our automation team at our modern plant in Seewis, Graubünden, is continuing to grow and we are immediately seeking a committed reinforcement. This automation technician position, with a focus on PLC programming, is ideal for a person who values a complex, technological environment and has the ambition to make good things even better. It is an extremely varied role with a high degree of personal responsibility and the opportunity to contribute significantly to the success of our plant.

Your tasks

• Programming PLC-controlled testing and assembly systems as well as robot controls - in compliance with applicable SEV and SUVA safety regulations
• Setup and commissioning of new and modified systems
• Troubleshooting as well as inspection, maintenance and repair of automated systems and robot systems
• Careful documentation of work steps and activities
• Identification and implementation of PLC programming optimisations
• Participation in automation projects

Your profile

• Completed apprenticeship as an automation technician, further education, e.g. HF, is an advantage
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable role
• Solid knowledge in PLC programming, ideally complemented by robotics experience
• Independent, reliable and quality-conscious working style
• Persuasiveness and ability to communicate efficiently (with production, logistics, external suppliers, etc.)
• Confident handling of MS Office
