AquaVision engineering Sàrl is a consulting engineering firm based in Ecublens and active in the field of environmental hydraulics and lake and river hydraulic developments for over 20 years. Active both in Switzerland and on the international market, the development of our consulting activities leads us to advertise a junior engineer position (m/f) in environmental hydraulics. Called upon to contribute significantly to the growth of the company, your main tasks will be to:
- carry out engineering services in the field of environmental hydraulics, renaturation and development of lake shores, watercourses and dams;
- develop preliminary studies, preliminary designs and project designs; preparation of consultation and tender documents; development of 1D and 2D numerical calculations;
- conduct field investigations and supervise works;
- write study reports related to projects;
- produce AutoCAD drawings of the planned structures;
- present studies to clients and authorities;
You will investigate and solve problems related to lake shores, watercourses and hydraulic structures, with interaction between different fields, such as hydraulics, sediment transport, environment, civil engineering, geotechnics, and socio-economic aspects.
You are particularly motivated to develop projects respectful of our environment. You are also comfortable in the field or on a construction site, and able to collaborate with the company, partner offices and authorities.
You have appropriate training in the aforementioned fields. You are proficient with software tools such as HEC-RAS (1D, 2D), AutoCAD, QGIS and Python. You are fluent in French and preferably also in English.
