We are allowed to support our client at the Aarau location in the further expansion of nationwide energy systems and are looking for a Documentation Manager Overhead Line Construction – Specialist Requirements and Quality Assurance Line Documentation for our team.

Your area of responsibility

As Documentation Manager Overhead Line Construction, you are responsible for the correct and quality-assured handling of line documentation in maintenance projects of Swissgrid (replacement new construction and extensive repairs of high-voltage overhead lines 380–50 kV).

Your area of responsibility

As Documentation Manager Overhead Line Construction, you are responsible for the correct and quality-assured handling of line documentation in maintenance projects of Swissgrid (replacement new construction and extensive repairs of high-voltage overhead lines 380–50 kV).

• Ensuring the currency of the as-is documentation as a basis for flawless planning and project design
• Review and approval of system documentation as well as filing according to customer-specific requirements in the document system
• Technical support of specialist departments in all documentation-related matters
• Participation in the management system-compliant implementation of occupational safety, health, and environmental protection (ASGU)

Your profile

• Completed training as a HF engineer, technician TS, or equivalent in the fields of construction, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of professional experience in overhead line construction (preferably 380–50 kV)
• Solid basic knowledge in overhead line construction and/or electrical engineering
• Advantageous: Good knowledge in the calculation of electromagnetic fields according to NISV as well as voltage distances according to LeV
• Systematic and solution-oriented working method with the ability to approach problems in a structured way and make well-founded decisions
• Strong quality awareness as well as the ability to recognize optimization potentials and actively help shape them
• Language skills:
• German: native speaker or business fluent
• French or Italian: advanced (B2+)
• English: advanced (B2+)
• Tool knowledge:
• PLS-CADD (modeling of overhead lines)
• Tower (modeling of masts and static calculation)
• EFC 400 or equivalent program (calculation of electrical and magnetic fields)
• MS Office and SAP
• Your place of residence is in Switzerland
