What is my function?

Our customer needs a Junior Cyber Security Operations Engineer who will dive into the exciting world of digital defense. You'll monitor security systems in real-time, hunt for anomalies that could signal threats, and respond to security incidents with speed and precision. Your mission includes analyzing security alerts, investigating suspicious activities, and helping to fortify our customer's digital infrastructure. You'll work with cutting-edge security tools, contribute to incident response playbooks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep cyber threats at bay. Think of yourself as a digital guardian - constantly learning, adapting, and staying one step ahead of potential attackers.

What do I need to be successful?

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Foundational knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security principles

• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM platforms, firewalls, or intrusion detection systems

• Basic understanding of common cyber threats, attack vectors, and defense mechanisms

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

• Good communication skills to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders

• Relevant certifications like Security+, CEH, or similar are a plus but not mandatory
