About the job
The Schaffhausen Hospitals include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Each year, we care for around 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. Additionally, we are an important training centre in the canton.
For medical technology, we are looking for a medical technician starting 1 October 2026 or by arrangement.
Medical technology ensures that equipment and systems are reliably maintained at all our locations.

What Awaits You
- On-site support for device malfunctions including immediate measures
- Repair and maintenance as well as coordination of external service providers' deployments
- Carrying out safety and measurement checks as well as maintenance on medical devices and systems
- Documentation of completed work according to legal requirements
- Technical advice and instruction of users
- Tasks arising within medical technology
What You Bring to Us
- Qualification as a medical technician HF, electrical technician, or a comparable education in electronics or mechatronics
- Professional experience in a hospital environment desirable with regard to the legal requirements for the maintenance of medical products
- Sense of responsibility, flexibility and resilience as well as open and respectful communication with all stakeholders
- Commitment to team-oriented and interdisciplinary collaboration
