Automation Technician/Polymechanic EFZ (m/f/d)

Job Description

• Independent fault finding and rectification as well as repairs (1st level support) on highly automated, integrated production systems
• Time- and condition-based maintenance, servicing and inspection of systems and system components
• Calibration of systems and system components and carrying out appropriate quality controls of production processes
• Optimisation and improvement of systems, robotics and process workflows in collaboration with engineering
• Ensuring comprehensive communication and documentation of work to secure throughput and consistent production quality

We expect

• Completed vocational training EFZ as an automation technician, electronics technician or polymechanic including basic electrical training
• Experience in maintenance and/or automation
• Knowledge of control technology, pneumatics and robot programming is essential; certified training in robotics is an advantage
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to act in a structured manner during system malfunctions, even under stress and meeting deadlines
• Good communication skills and social competence as well as the ability to communicate effectively across different levels of expertise
• Willingness to work in continuous operation (including Saturdays & Sundays)
• Fluent German (at least C1), knowledge of English (B1)
