Automation Technician (m/f/d)

Job Description

• Assembly and wiring of control cabinets, controls, and electrical assemblies
• Installation and electrical setup of machines and systems
• Wiring according to electrical schematics, technical drawings, and parts lists
• Testing, commissioning, and functional checks of machines and automation systems
• Analysis and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic faults
• Carrying out maintenance, repair, and servicing work
• Adjustment and optimisation of existing controls and systems
• Inspection and documentation of completed work
• Compliance with applicable quality and safety regulations
• Support during service work and technical projects

We Expect

• Completed vocational training as an Automation Technician EFZ, Automation Fitter EFZ, Electromechanic EFZ, or a comparable electrical basic education
• Professional experience in mechanical engineering, plant construction, control cabinet construction, or industrial maintenance is an advantage
• Good knowledge in reading and implementing electrical schematics and technical documents
• Experience in wiring, commissioning, or fault rectification
• Technical understanding and pronounced manual skills
• Independent, precise, and responsible working style
• High quality and safety awareness
• Solution-oriented and reliable personality
• Enjoyment of teamwork
• Good German language skills
• French or English skills are an advantage
