Communication Officer (60–80%)
The Pastoral Area Brugg-Windisch has five church centers with a rich and diverse parish life.
Regular services and various other events and activities for all age groups take place at all locations. A dynamic catechesis and youth work team, broad engagement in the diaconal area, great musical diversity, and innovative projects for young adults characterize our pastoral area. We are also among the first churches in Aargau to be certified with the environmental label "Green Rooster." Approximately 40 employees work in various functions in the pastoral area.
Your mission:
You are responsible for all internal and external communication of the pastoral area and also support the church community in communication tasks. In addition to classic communication channels such as print media, you also manage social media platforms and lead a small team of young volunteer content creators. You write, edit, and publish contributions for all communication channels. You are responsible for the web presence of the pastoral area and the church community and lead the editorial team of the parish magazine "Lichtblick." You are also responsible for building internal and external communication through digital signage and the application revolutionScreen.
We expect:
- Completed education or further training in communication/media
- Good knowledge of modern communication tools and integrated and cross-media communication
- Know-how in content creation, editorial sensitivity, and confident written and oral communication in German
- User knowledge in the application of common CMS systems and digital applications in the communication field
- Flair for communicative appearances and quality-conscious design
- Skilled, curious, resilient, and team-oriented personality with quick comprehension
- Connection to the Roman Catholic Church and knowledge of its structure and working methods
- Reliability and discretion
- Mobility and time flexibility
