Our client, a multinational company recognised in the medical field around Lausanne, is looking for their next maintenance technician.
The position will be on evening shifts with one night shift every 5 to 6 weeks.
The role of Technician involves providing technical support in the areas of production, operations, maintenance, safety, and testing activities. This role requires working on electronic and mechanical systems, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance operations to ensure optimal performance and equipment reliability.
The post holder must be able to interpret technical documentation, such as schematics, diagrams, and written instructions, and apply established procedures for data analysis and problem-solving.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of production lines and industrial equipment.
- Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes, and replace defective components.
- Perform troubleshooting operations using standard electronic tools and technical documentation (plans, schematics, manuals, and specifications).
- Maintain maintenance records and intervention reports accurately and meticulously.
- Use a variety of manual, electrical tools and testing equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance operations.
- Collect, compile, and process technical data by applying established formulas and procedures.
- Perform detailed technical calculations to support analysis and maintenance activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing process optimisations (depending on experience level).
