The Shipping Company of Lake Lucerne (SGV) AG is looking from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement, to support the Sales Passenger Shipping department with a committed, independent and service-oriented personality in customer consulting.
The Shipping Company of Lake Lucerne (SGV) AG is a subsidiary of SGV Holding AG. Its origins date back to 1836. As a licensed, private transport company, SGV AG operates a fleet of five historic paddle steamers and 14 motor ships and transports 3 million passengers annually on Lake Lucerne.

Your area of responsibility
- Consulting and sales of boat trips, catering offers and excursion experiences in the Lucerne-Lake Lucerne region by telephone, e-mail and chat
- Processing individual customer enquiries and group reservations
- Maintaining contact and bookings with travel organisers, foreign tour operators and bus companies
- Reception support at SGV as well as the telephone switchboard
- Close cooperation with internal interfaces such as navigation, catering, marketing and finance
Requirements profile
- Commercial professional experience, preferably in public transport, tourism or a comparable function; catering knowledge is an advantage
- Enthusiasm for the Lucerne-Lake Lucerne tourism region
- Very good German skills as well as good knowledge of English and French, spoken and written
- Flexibility and willingness to work on weekends and public holidays (2 to 3 days per month) pronounced service and customer orientation
- Enjoyment of consulting and daily contact with people from all over the world
- Independent, reliable and precise working method
- Good MS Office user skills and affinity for digital systems
