Look forward to a meaningful medical role with direct impact: Together with an experienced Medical Practice Assistant (MPA), you will visit elderly and care centres in the Bern area. On site, you will conduct your rounds independently and care for the residents personally, attentively, and with a high standard of medical quality.

Your workload adapts to your life: From 40% to 100% possible – you determine the employment level that suits your current life situation and personal needs. This allows your medical work to be flexibly combined with family, leisure, or other professional priorities.

This modern home doctor practice operates at three locations in Switzerland and provides medical care for various long-term institutions. In Bern, you will find a collegial team of currently nine dedicated doctors – the team is growing and therefore looks forward to your application!

Your tasks:

• Conducting medical rounds in various elderly and care centres in the Bern area
• Supporting and medically advising elderly people with the aim of preserving their autonomy for as long as possible
• Close collaboration with nursing staff, relatives, and other parties to ensure coordinated care
• Early detection and treatment of changes in health status to promote quality of life and stability in daily living

Your skills:

• Empathy and communication skills to address the individual needs of older people
• Independent and structured working style to manage your day efficiently and confidently across changing locations
• Interdisciplinary thinking and teamwork to find optimal solutions in close exchange with nursing staff, relatives, and other specialists
• Experience in geriatrics or interest in elderly medicine, combined with a holistic view of health, quality of life, and autonomy in old age
