Nursery Horticulturist at 100%
Your mission and responsibilities
- Carry out horticultural work related to the propagation, cultivation, and conditioning of ornamental woody plants, according to the foreman or forewoman's instructions.
- Perform tasks necessary for the production of quality plants, respecting the environment, until their final planting.
- Participate in the management of technical installations and monitor automated systems ensuring greenhouse climate control, irrigation, and lighting.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and on-call service, depending on internal organisation and service needs.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and supervise apprentices, interns, and unqualified collaborators.
Your profile
- Hold a diploma in horticulture or a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a horticulturist specialising in nursery work, or an equivalent qualification.
- Have several years of experience in a similar role.
- Possess a valid driving licence.
- Hold an M1 machinery operator licence.
- Training in working at height and an M2 licence are an advantage.
- Demonstrate skill, versatility, and a keen sense of observation.
- Be in good physical condition and able to work alone or in a team, outdoors in all weather.
- Be available for on-call duty, including weekends.
