The VSFM association is responsible for wastewater treatment for the municipalities of Volketswil, Schwerzenbach, Fällanden and Maur and is expanding the plant in the coming years to a future-oriented capacity of 90,000 population equivalents and the latest technical standards. To support our well-coordinated team at the ARA Bachwis in Fällanden, we are looking from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement for an independent, flexible and resilient personality as
Certified Electrician EFZ as Wastewater Treatment Plant Specialist (100% Position)
The area of work includes the following tasks:
- You control, optimise and monitor the operation of the wastewater treatment plant
- You share responsibility for the maintenance/operation of the electrical infrastructure
- You conduct rounds and functional checks on the plant
- You carry out laboratory analyses of the water in accordance with water protection regulations
- You alternate on-call and weekend duties (within 30 minutes at the site)
Ideally, you bring the following qualifications:
- Vocational training (EFZ) as an electrician, electrical installer, mechanic, plumber with several years of professional experience
- Further training as a wastewater treatment plant specialist with a federal certificate of competence or willingness to complete this training
- Good IT user skills, German language skills in spoken and written form
- Flexibility, commitment and initiative
- Driving licence for passenger cars (category B)
