The Wädenswil Primary School is looking for a position for the Untermosen school unit
Fixed-term Maternity Cover from 1 December 2026 to 16 April 2027 with Possibility of Reduced Continued Employment Afterwards / 66% 18WL
The DaZ teacher supports children with German as a second language in acquiring and expanding their language skills. They promote the linguistic and cultural integration of the pupils and contribute to their successful participation in lessons as well as their academic success.
Main tasks
• Planning, implementation and evaluation of DaZ lessons, including in very small groups
• Individual support for children with German as a second language
• Setting support goals and documenting learning progress
• Collaboration with class teachers, subject teachers and school specialist departments
• Advising and supporting teachers on language promotion issues
• Participation in team meetings and school discussions
• Contribution to an inclusive and appreciative school culture

Organisational integration
The DaZ teacher works closely with the school management, class teachers, subject teachers and other school specialist departments and is part of the pedagogical team of the Untermosen school unit.
