Automation Maintenance Technician

What you accomplish

• Manage and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance work, particularly on the installations in your area of activity, to ensure their optimal operation
• Provide support in the electrical and automation field to other maintenance departments
• Investigate root causes of malfunctions using company methodologies and implement sustainable corrective actions
• Propose, manage and execute improvement maintenance work to optimise the performance of automated installations
• Document work orders in SAP PM (parts management, time allocation, data for histograms, etc.)
• Collaborate with the technical store to identify critical spare parts to stock and ensure their availability
• Guide technical project managers in the standardisation of components
• Ensure continuous operation of equipment by participating in the on-call service

What you bring

• Education: Completed initial or continuing training
• Specialisation: Federal VET Diploma and/or Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in a technical field (automation technician, industrial systems technician) or equivalent training
• Professional experience: Proven experience in industrial maintenance, ideally in the food sector (an advantage)
• Ability to anticipate, organisational skills and autonomy
• Analytical mindset, rigour and solution orientation
• Knowledge of maintenance management software such as SAP PM or other CMMS as well as MS Office
• Resident in the region due to on-call service (max. 30 minutes by car)
