Do you have many years of experience with complex IT networks and enjoy professionally developing and coaching other engineers? Do you combine deep technical know-how with architectural understanding, service orientation, and a holistic view?
We are looking to strengthen our team with a Lead Network Engineer Customer Networks for the location Zurich Airport or St. Gallen. In this role, you will take on the technical leadership role in the area of customer networks, actively support presales activities, further develop services, and accompany customer projects from small to large. - Technical overall responsibility for architecture, design, and further development of Abraxas customer networks
- Professional leadership, coaching, and mentoring of network engineers
- Definition, further development, and establishment of network standards, architectures, and best practices
- Development and implementation of network and security concepts
- Technical lead role in customer projects from small to large, from conception to implementation
- Active participation in presales (technical support for offers)
- Participation in service development, optimization, automation, and standardization in the network area
- Close collaboration with service, security, architecture, and operations teams
- Escalation point in 3rd-level support for complex disruptions
- Assumption of operational tasks as well as on-call duty and maintenance windows
- Completed studies (HF/FH) or comparable education in computer science or telematics
- Many years of experience in the design, construction, and operation of customer networks of various sizes
- High independence, sense of responsibility, and pronounced coaching and communication skills
- Solid knowledge in OSI layers 1–4, routing, switching, firewalls, security, and network monitoring
- Deep experience in network architecture, design, automation, and SDN
- Experience in presales, service design, or service optimization is an advantage
- Product knowledge in Huawei and Fortinet is an advantage
- Language levels: German C1, English is an advantage
