Flying Teachers offers a teaching position for individual German lessons in Onex (on site).

Level: B1/3

Start date: mid/end August 2026

Days / Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, time by arrangement.

Number of lessons: 48 lessons of 60 minutes each, (2 x 60 minutes per week)

Who are we?

Flying Teachers is a private language school founded over 25 years ago. We are based in Switzerland but also have offices in Germany and Hungary. We teach a wide range of languages and offer tutoring for children in mainstream schools. We provide intensive courses for all age groups and work in-house with companies to offer targeted language solutions.

• conduct needs analyses
• monitor student attendance
• track student progress
• maintain good communication with the office
• residence near the published location and a work permit for Switzerland
• experience in online teaching; knowledge of online tools is an advantage

Requirements

• SVEB training or completed studies in German as a foreign language (FIDE certificate is an advantage)
• experience in adult education
• experience teaching German as a foreign or second language
• native German speaker or C2 German proficiency
• strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with people
• patience
• flexibility and adaptability
• willingness to continue professional development
