WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE

• Architecture & Strategy: You design future-proof and scalable data platform architectures (cloud, hybrid) and advise our customers on the optimal strategy – from the initial vision to the final implementation (Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Cloud DWH).
• Platform Build & Migration: You lead complex transformation projects. Thanks to your experience from the on-premises world, you plan and orchestrate the secure migration of legacy systems to modern cloud data platforms.
• Data Modelling: You are the expert in structuring data. You design robust data models (e.g. Data Vault 2.0, star schema) and thus create a reliable foundation for AI use cases.
• Sales & Presales Enablement: You are the technical face of our data division externally. Together with the sales team, you engage with customers, translate complex architectures into tangible business value for the C-level and empower our sales colleagues to place data projects more confidently.
• AI Competence: You confidently use AI tools in your work, critically evaluate the results and support customers and colleagues in fully exploiting the potential of AI (e.g. through GenAI integrations in modern data platforms).
• Thought Leadership: Besides project work, you significantly shape our community as a speaker, author and mentor.

HOW YOU SUCCEED

• Background: Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics or a comparable analytical/technical field.
• Architecture Expertise (On-Prem & Cloud): Many years of practical experience in building data platforms. You know the challenges of the "old" on-premises world (e.g. classic relational databases & DWHs, Hadoop) just as well as the modern cloud ecosystems (Snowflake, Databricks, MS Fabric).
• Tech Stack (Snowflake & Databricks): You possess solid, proven practical knowledge in Snowflake and Databricks. You know the respective strengths and exactly when which platform (or a combination) is architecturally most sensible.
• Modelling & Concepts: Deep methodological and practical expertise in data modelling (e.g. Data Vault 2.0, Kimball/star schema, 3NF).
• Consulting & Communication: You can present complex technical matters understandably at management level (C-level). You bring empathy and patience to enthuse and empower even non-specialist colleagues (such as our sales team) for your topics.
• Certifications: You hold relevant architecture certifications (e.g. for Snowflake and Databricks) or have the ambition to obtain them promptly with our support.
• Languages: Very good German and good English skills; French is an advantage.
• Flexibility: You are willing to travel project-related and enjoy working in agile teams.
