As a Security Architect in our development organization, you take on a central role in the secure design of our safety-critical products. You define and evaluate security architectures, advise our development and product teams, and ensure that our hardware and software solutions meet the highest cyber security requirements.What you achieve
- Developing and further developing system and security architectures for embedded systems as well as software applications (web, mobile, desktop)
- Definition, implementation, and review of security-by-design principles throughout the product development process
- Co-design and further development of the Security Development Lifecycle (SDL)
- Supporting teams with threat modeling, risk analyses, and security requirements engineering
- Conducting architecture, design, and code reviews regarding cyber security
- Advising development and product teams on technical and conceptual security issues
- Selection and introduction of suitable security toolchains (SAST, DAST, SCA, PenTesting, Vulnerability Management)
- Participation in defining and implementing regulatory requirements from the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), IEC 62443, and EN 18031
- Close collaboration with system architecture, compliance, product management, and external partners
What you bring
- Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field at M.Sc. or B.Sc. level
- Further education in cyber security (MAS, CAS, DAS) or relevant certifications such as CSSLP or GICSP are an advantage
- Several years of experience in cyber security of embedded systems or software products
- Solid know-how in security architectures, cryptography, security mechanisms, and common security standards
- Very good knowledge of security tooling and modern development practices
- Experience in implementing SDL methodologies
- Analytical, structured, communicative, and convincing in dealing with various stakeholders
- Confident communication in German and English
