Tasks
Supporting people: At the Landauerstrasse residential home, you accompany adults with cognitive impairments. These often affect thinking, learning, understanding or remembering and are frequently accompanied by autism spectrum disorders (ASD) as well as mental illnesses.
Flexible presence: Our night watch team works at three locations. Usually, you are assigned to the Landauerstrasse residential home, but if needed, you also support the other two locations Klosterfiechten and Luzernerring flexibly.
Main tasks: You take on domestic duties as well as any additional tasks from the site management, including medication management and administrative tasks such as maintaining the digital client records.
Night rounds: You carry out regular checks to see if anyone needs support. If necessary, you provide individual night care and support for the clients.
Responsibilities in emergencies: In this position, you are responsible for independently initiating emergency measures in crises or accidents. This includes assessing vital signs, providing first aid and initiating the rescue chain on site.
Profile
Experience: You have experience working with people with disabilities, ideally also with challenging behaviour. Shift work and working on weekends and public holidays are part of your responsible professional understanding.
Personality: You approach clients with empathy, openness and respect. Even in demanding care situations or emergencies, you remain calm, act confidently and convey security.
Training: You have completed training as a care specialist EFZ or an equivalent qualification.
Language: You have a secure command of the German language and communicate clearly, empathetically and appropriately for the target group.
