In this position, you develop and optimise thermal process solutions for demanding industrial applications and ensure their technical design. You work closely with internal departments as well as external partners, evaluate technical concepts and ensure reliable implementation through to application. At the same time, you contribute to the continuous development of calculation methods, simulation models and technical standards.
Responsibilities:
Execution and optimisation of thermal calculations as well as design of complex heat transfer systems for industrial process plants
Creation, review and technical evaluation of specifications, tender documents and offer documentation
Technical coordination with suppliers, assessment of solutions and support of implementation
Consulting internal departments on process engineering and thermal issues
Responsibility for the technical design and further development of heat transfer components in close cooperation with engineering, sales and commissioning
Development, maintenance and documentation of calculation models, simulation tools and design guidelines
Participation in the optimisation of existing processes and the introduction of new technical methods
Qualifications:
Completed studies in mechanical engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering or a comparable engineering discipline
Experience in the application of process simulations, ideally with common simulation programmes
Knowledge in the development or design of heat transfer systems, pressure vessels or comparable technical components
Ability to independently create, document and transfer technical calculations into simulation models
Structured, analytical and responsible working style
Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
Good English skills
Fluent German skills
