In front of and behind the scenes, we do everything to ensure that our customers can rely blindly on their IT. We continuously check our systems, look for possible weaknesses, and initiate improvements. As Head of the Platform Services Department, you take on an important role in the tension between hands-on and management tasks and are thus an important guarantor for a successful leadership team within the Infrastructure and Platforms executive area.
THIS IS WHAT YOU DO
- Technical and personnel leadership of the Platform Services department with ten to fifteen employees at various locations in Switzerland (Bern, Sursee, Winterthur)
- Ensuring a stable, secure, and economically optimized operation of the platforms of the fenaco-LANDI group
- Further development of the department and employees in professional and methodological skills
- Assuming the Service Owner role for the network service according to ITIL 4
- Coordination with internal stakeholders and external service providers
THIS IS WHAT YOU BRING
- Solid IT education combined with commercial or business management training
- Excellent knowledge in the areas of servers, systems, data storage as well as virtualization solutions and the platforms running on them, as well as the use of cloud services on Azure and GCP
- High motivation to plan, accompany, and implement social and technical change into a modern future as a leader
- Committed and pragmatic "doer personality" with the motivation to independently make a difference – also by questioning the status quo and taking initiative
- Native German language skills in spoken and written form
