Your main tasks
Alarm Centre
Field Service
- Recording and triaging incoming alarms and making necessary dispositions
- Monitoring building and site security via camera system
- Operation and management of the parking guidance system
- Maintaining the event log and preparing deployment reports
- Coordination of emergency services and helicopter landings as well as disposition in event and crisis situations (FaoL)
Field Service
- Helpfulness towards internal and external customers
- Proportionate enforcement of house and traffic regulations on the hospital site as well as ensuring peace and order
- Intervention in cases of aggression and threats
- Preventive control activities in USZ buildings and on the hospital site
- Carrying out special assignments
Your profile
- Completed vocational training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ), ideally in a technical profession. A federal specialist certificate in the field of security (FSB or FPO) is a great advantage. We also welcome experience in hospital security.
- At least 5 years proven professional experience in personal/property protection and/or in an alarm centre is mandatory.
- Swiss citizenship, a C residence permit or a B residence permit (EU/EFTA) is also a basic requirement.
- German at C1 level with secure understanding of Swiss German. Additional language skills are very welcome.
- Technical understanding as well as a confident handling of IT systems and MS Office.
- Physically and mentally resilient, responsible and team-oriented personality.
- Confident appearance in conflict and stress situations with de-escalating behaviour.
- Driving licence category B as well as an impeccable record: criminal and debt register extracts must be submitted by the latest at the trial service.
