About the job
Polymechanics manufacture tools, device parts, and production fixtures from metal, plastic, or composite materials, ranging from the size of a watch screw to that of a turbine wheel. They work on (partly computer-controlled) lathes, milling, drilling, and grinding machines. Professionals programme and operate machines, monitor production, commission systems and apparatus, and maintain them.

- Interest in machine work and metal processing
- Understanding of technical contexts and mechanics
