Your tasks:

• As a construction supervisor for railway electrical engineering / overhead lines, you ensure the contract-compliant implementation of the assigned construction sites or major maintenance measures, e.g. in the event of derailments
• You manage the timely completion of construction measures in close cooperation with the planning team, project management, and external contractors
• As a specialist in the fascinating railway system, you coordinate construction operations and the people on your construction site
• Taking into account ongoing railway operations, you plan construction processes and phases on schedule and are responsible for the technical support of inspections as well as commissioning of the functional systems
• In doing so, you ensure safe and smooth railway operations during construction and compliance with applicable operational and safety regulations
• You are also responsible for monitoring and documenting progress in your construction projects
• With us, you are more than a construction manager, as you coordinate the various contractors by type, time, and place of their service provision, spending about 30% in the office and 70% on site
• As part of your inspection activities, you competently advise the system managers and independently carry out technical inspections

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed a technical or university degree as an electrical engineer specialising in communications technology or automation technology
• Initial practical experience in construction management and knowledge of applicable legal regulations are advantageous
• You are willing to develop further and will complete the functional training to become a railway construction supervisor with us or already possess this qualification
• Your handling of MS Office products is confident
• We expect willingness to work occasionally on weekends or at night
• You also bring strong quality, cost, and deadline awareness as well as assertiveness and teamwork skills
• A valid driving licence class B and your health suitability (checked by a company doctor during the application process) complete your profile
