These exciting tasks await you
- Overall responsibility for the Security Department, including areas of civil protection, permits and support, citizen services, and municipal police
- Leading a team of 23 employees, including 6 directly subordinate persons
- Managing the area of civil protection and having technical responsibility for public transport and shooting
- Establishing the municipal leadership organization (GFO) and taking on the role of chief of staff in extraordinary situations
- Carrying financial responsibility for the entire department, including budget and accounting control
- Advising on legal matters within your area of responsibility
- Supporting the department head, the municipal council, the municipal clerk, and employees in technical matters
- Preparing and implementing strategic decisions and resolutions from the municipal council, department head, and administrative management
- Developing foundations, proposals, and directives for the municipal council and the municipal assembly
- Participating in commissions as well as in working and project groups
You bring with you
- Degree or higher vocational training in law or completed police training with further education in administrative management, e.g., MAS Public Management
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in a public administration
- Knowledge in business management leadership and organizational theory as well as in project management
- Strong flexibility, efficiency, independence, and assertiveness
- High service orientation, resilience, and initiative
