About the job

In this role, you are responsible for the following main tasks:

• Optimisation of the Supply Chain: You analyse and optimise the supply chain processes between OVDK, the KURZ Group plants in Germany, and external suppliers – focusing on procurement, material flow, storage, and external manufacturing steps.
• Management of Optimisation Projects: You initiate and lead cross-departmental projects in purchasing, material management, and intralogistics and support the Head of Supply Chain in strategic optimisation projects.
• Increasing Efficiency and Performance: You identify weaknesses and cost drivers along the value chain and develop sustainable measures to reduce throughput and process times as well as to increase process efficiency.
• Optimisation of Stocks and Material Flows: You develop solutions to optimise stocks, storage space, material flows, as well as transport and packaging concepts.
• LEAN and Process Standardisation: You drive LEAN measures along the supply chain and develop efficient, standardised, and cross-interface processes and procedures.
• Digitalisation and Automation: You identify automation and digitalisation potentials and are responsible for corresponding projects in purchasing, material management, and intralogistics.
• SAP Key User MM/WM: As a key user for the SAP modules MM and WM, you further develop processes and system applications, actively involve operational managers, and ensure sustainable application through training and appropriate documentation.
• Interface Management and Collaboration: You work closely with internal departments, the KURZ Group plants, and external suppliers to ensure viable, cross-departmental solutions.

To manage these tasks, you bring:

• Completed basic training and further education (Federal Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Federal Diploma in Logistics, Purchasing, Process Management)
• Several years of professional experience in supply chain, purchasing and/or intralogistics
• Experience in project and process management
• Strong analytical and commercial thinking
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• Experience in analysing and optimising material flows, stocks and procurement processes
• Good knowledge of LEAN management and continuous improvement process (CIP)
• Good ERP knowledge, ideally experience with SAP S/4 Hana
