The AOZ
The AOZ is a non-profit, independent public-law institution of the City of Zurich with over 2000 employees and more than 1000 intercultural interpreters and volunteers. On behalf of the federal government, cantons, City of Zurich and other municipalities, it provides professional services in the field of migration and integration.
In the supplementary school learning and integration programme «Future Kids», students from various universities – in the role of mentor – support and accompany primary school children from disadvantaged family backgrounds in their learning and on their way to better school success.
This is what Elma, 4th grade, who participated in Future Kids, says:
"Since I have been part of Future Kids, I am happy and know that there is something inside me and I will do everything to become a student as well.
