Global Supply & Production Planner 100% (m/f/d)

We are looking for an ambitious, proactive and responsible individual who manages, develops and digitises (AI) our global supply and production planning end-to-end.

Global Supply & Production Planner 100% (m/f)

In this key position, you are responsible for integrated planning from sales demand through inventory, production capacities to on-time delivery. You translate rolling forecasts into reliable procurement and production plans. You report directly to the Head of Operations Switzerland and work closely with all production sites, purchasing, logistics and sales.

Your area of responsibility….

• Establishment and operational management of group-wide production planning
• Translation of requirements into actionable procurement and production plans
• Integrated planning of finished products, assemblies and critical components across all sites and external partners
• Definition and continuous optimisation of inventory targets, active management of shortages, excess stock and coverage
• Ongoing coordination with all sales & purchasing teams to improve forecast quality
• Further development of global planning processes and governance, including roles, planning cycles, master data and key figures
• Digitisation (AI) of planning by replacing decentralised systems with an integrated planning solution with automated workflows

You bring with you….

• Several years of experience in international demand, inventory and production planning in a manufacturing company with assembly production
• Experience with planning project business with institutional customers
• Sound knowledge in material requirements, capacity and inventory planning
• Very good ERP knowledge in material management and production planning; experience with advanced planning and BI solutions is an advantage
• High data and process affinity as well as very good Excel skills, experience in digitising and standardising planning processes
• Very good German and English skills as well as convincing communication skills in an intercultural environment

You think end-to-end, combine analytical depth with pragmatic implementation and create transparency even with conflicting requirements. You moderate goal conflicts authoritatively, make well-founded prioritisation decisions and drive change together with local teams. An exact, structured and independent way of working rounds off your profile.
