About the job
You want to professionally handle tech mandates instead of acquiring clients? And you know after an interview whether someone fits? Then let’s talk.
Senior IT Recruiter
Who we are and what we do
DIGITALENT professionalises recruitment for companies as an external service provider, thereby improving the experience for talents and employers. Our mission is to connect companies with the right talents so that both can develop exceptionally. By combining modern technology with authentic, appreciative communication, we achieve sustainable recruitment success for our clients.
DIGITALENT was founded at the end of 2017 in Switzerland. Our clients are mainly IT, digital & technology service providers from Switzerland, whom we serve from locations in Switzerland, Poland and Serbia. We have the absolute claim to create added value for the client, which we almost always succeed in. How do we achieve this? Digitalisation in our blood and always at the pulse of the latest developments. And thanks to great employees. We have big plans ahead and therefore need further reinforcement.
Your mission: The mandate is yours, the decision too
Our clients are Swiss tech companies with 30 to 200 employees. For them, we work as an external recruiting department. You manage a mandate from briefing to signed contract, and no one has to step in for you during the difficult parts.
Important: We are not a recruitment agency, but an RPO. You neither have to acquire mandates nor send candidates to 30 companies. The mandates are brought by our business development. All your energy goes into professional handling. These are your tasks:
- Manage mandates from A to Z: You take over the mandate from kick-off and manage it independently: briefing, search, approach, interviews, shortlist, client interviews and placement. Timeline, follow-ups and project budget are your responsibility.
- Assess the fit: You conduct interviews for demanding IT and engineering positions and decide with high accuracy whether someone fits the role, the team and the client. You assess skills, not self-presentation, and ask until it is clear.
- Say no when it is no: Our clients expect quality, not quantity. You only present people you would hire yourself and justify your assessment so that the candidate can understand it.
- Win candidates: You approach passive talents by phone, LinkedIn and email and process applications. You stay in contact with strong candidates beyond the current vacancy, advise them honestly and build a network.
- Lead the client: You are the client’s operational sparring partner: you report status before anyone asks, clarify expectations, request feedback and suggest alternatives if the market does not fit the briefing.
At digitalent, responsibility, quality and speed count. You have the freedom to:
- Fully focus on your mandates without having to acquire new clients on the side.
- Manage your mandates within the agreed framework as you see fit.
- Rely on our research team, which provides you with longlists and market data for your mandates.
Your profile: Experienced, independent, accurate
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already knows this job and does it well.
- Proven experience: Several years in IT or engineering recruiting (agency or in-house), with placements you have managed from start to finish.
- Assess candidates: You conduct structured interviews for technical roles, and your recommendations hold up with the client. We do not teach you this.
- IT understanding: You know what a software developer, a system engineer or a DevOps engineer actually does and can distinguish a strong profile from a mediocre one.
- Independence: You manage several mandates simultaneously without needing supervision.
- Client communication: You speak with hiring managers and executives on equal footing and are clear even when the message is uncomfortable.
- Language: Native-level German (C2) is mandatory. You understand and speak Swiss German: a big plus because our clients and candidates are in Switzerland. Good English.
- Swiss market: You have experience with the Swiss labour market and know the Swiss work culture from practice.
- Location: You live in Europe and work remotely (B2B) or in our office in Krakow (B2B / permanent employment). You want to be part of the team long-term and learn how digitalent works.
- Nice to have: Experience with Salesforce or another CRM.
Benefits
Perspectives
We have big plans and continuously expand our company. This always creates new opportunities for employees to acquire new knowledge and take on new tasks, e.g. in projects, technology, digital marketing, product development or business development.
Events & Travel
We work distributed across 3 countries. Therefore, regular exchange outside of work is all the more important. For example, we all travel together 1-2 times a year to a European city (or to the mountains in Switzerland) and enjoy ourselves.
Flexible working models & hours
9 to 5 every day? Always in the same office, with the same tasks? That is an outdated model that no longer fits the demands of today’s working world. Therefore, we promote more individual paths & flexible working time models and also leave you the choice between a B2B contract and permanent employment.
Training & Coaching
You receive personal coaching and workshops to develop impeccable skills in the areas of research, talent acquisition, marketing & communication and much more. After the onboarding period, you still have 10% of your working time available for training & self-study.
Salary & Benefits
We don’t make a big deal out of it, but you can expect an attractive salary and great perks. Netflix / Amazon vouchers for everyone included.
Innovative work tools
We are 100% cloud-based. You get the latest hardware and tools and have access to state-of-the-art technologies. Routine tasks are automated so you can focus on what matters.
International team
Our international team is spread across several locations. Nevertheless (or precisely because of this), we cultivate a culture of togetherness and place great value on teamwork. We look out for each other, work hand in hand and combine our individual strengths. We do things together. And we do them really well.
Varied work & projects
We offer our employees varied activities and exciting – not everyday – projects. As a sustainably growing company, we also have numerous internal tasks where you can contribute.
Flexible workplace & home office
Your workplace is where you are most productive. Sometimes in the modern office, embedded in the team. Sometimes in the home office, where you concentrate on scouring the web or making contacts.
