class teacher for a small class

for our school in Winterthur from February 2027.

What can you expect?

You will lead a class of ten pupils together with a social pedagogue or another teacher. While you are responsible for planning and delivering the lessons, the pedagogical class leadership takes care of the organisation and coordination of the pupils.

In addition, they intervene in case of disturbances and support the

maintenance of a good learning and working atmosphere.

You will teach the subjects German, Mathematics, RZG, RKE, and NT and also lead the class hour. The pupils work according to their individual school level with weekly plans. The teaching is highly individualised and includes many independent or individual learning units.

Traditional frontal teaching is largely avoided.

Traditional frontal teaching only accounts for a small part of the lessons.

You are a committed and organised person who can guide and accompany young people in a small class (10 pupils). From your training (PH or HFH), you can lead young people and are aware of your role model function.

You motivate and support young people on their way into adulthood.

You look for new ways and actively contribute to our team.

You enjoy a flexible and versatile school with private sponsorship.

What you bring

You have the appropriate qualifications for the teaching profession or hold a teacher diploma recognised by the EDK.

Didactic skill and the ability to individually support pupils with a special education status.

Ideally, you already have a few years of experience as a teacher in special education.
