Head of Household Management with Professional Training Experience (m/f/d)

The Office for Criminal Execution of the Security and Justice Department employs around 260 employees in various professional fields. The youth home Platanenhof promotes civil and criminally committed young people and young adults according to social pedagogical principles and concepts. Together with the young people, new social, educational, and professional development perspectives are developed in a closed or open setting.

For the internal household management area, we are looking for a

Head of Household Management with Professional Training Experience (m/f/d) starting January 1, 2026, or by agreement

Workload: 70%

Workplace: 9242 Oberuzwil

What to expect

• independent management of the household operation (laundry and cleaning) and leadership of the household team (155%) and active participation in these areas
• supervision and support of the work assignments of young people in a professional context and assistance in the further development of the internal educational offerings
• ensuring the required quality of household management including compliance with hygiene, qualitative, and quantitative standards
• assistance in the execution of events and occasions
• budget responsibility and completion of various administrative tasks
• responsibility for the procurement of consumables in the household management area
• collaboration in the further development of the household management area as well as in various projects

What distinguishes you

• socially competent and responsible leadership personality, ideally with experience in a leadership role and/or as a vocational trainer
• completed training in the field of household management/hotels (household management specialist EFZ, possibly area manager hotel-household management with federal certificate)
• interest in working with young people, including those with complex behavioral issues
• good MS Office application skills
• openness to interdisciplinary collaboration and service orientation towards various stakeholders
• solution-oriented thinking and action
