Summary:
As Site PMO Lead, you'll guide successful execution of important initiatives across functions, ensuring timely delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment. You'll manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, coordinating cross-functional teams through the complete project lifecycle while maintaining focus on business objectives and quality standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in implementing process improvements, new technologies, and transformational changes that enhance operational efficiency and customer success.
Responsibilities:
- PMO Strategy & Governance: Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the site PMO framework, including governance, standards, tools, and methodologies aligned with global PM practices.
- Project Portfolio Management: Own and manage the site project portfolio, ensuring prioritization, capacity planning, and alignment with site strategy and capital plans.
- Project Execution Excellence: Provide oversight and guidance to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality requirements—especially within GMP constraints.
- Standardization & Best Practices: Define and deploy standardized project management processes (stage gates, risk management, change control, cost tracking, reporting).
- Stakeholder Management: Act as primary interface between Operations, Engineering, Quality, MSAT, Supply Chain, Finance, and Global functions to enable timely decisions and issue escalation.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate project risks and issues (regulatory, technical, supply, schedule).
- Resource & Capability Management: Support project resourcing and develop project management capability across the site through coaching and training.
- Performance Management & Reporting: Maintain project KPIs and dashboards; run management reviews and steer corrective actions to achieve benefits realization.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean / PPI principles and lessons learned to improve project delivery predictability and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience, managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering, Business, Science, or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent highly desired
- Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects with budgets over $500K
- Strong proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (MS Project, Agile/Scrum, etc.)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to collaborate and coordinate without direct authority in matrix environment
- Experience with change management and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic environment while maintaining focus on objectives
- Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
- Up to 25% travel may be required
- Experience in regulated/GMP environment preferred
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards (ISO, FDA, etc.) desirable
- Track record of successful stakeholder management and relationship building
- Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget and risk
