Role:
In this role, you shape the data-driven future by combining business understanding with modern BI technology, thus contributing to data-based corporate management. You analyse requirements from areas such as finance or integrated business planning and translate them into reporting and analysis solutions, which you accompany from definition to implementation together with stakeholders. You develop and optimise data models, SQL views and data flows in Microsoft Fabric and create modern reporting solutions in Power BI including semantic models, Power Query and DAX. In addition, you take responsibility for the independent conception and implementation of BI initiatives and drive the further development of the reporting and analytics landscape. Furthermore, you support the expansion of BI governance, reporting standards and a future-proof, AI-ready BI platform.
Responsibilities:
- You analyse requirements from finance and integrated business planning and translate them into appropriate reporting and analysis solutions.
- In this role, you accompany BI and data projects together with stakeholders from definition to successful implementation.
- You develop and optimise data models, SQL views and data flows in Microsoft Fabric (Warehouse, Lakehouse, Dataflows).
- You create and maintain modern reporting solutions in Power BI including semantic models, Power Query and DAX.
- In this role, you independently take on the conception and implementation of BI initiatives and drive the further development of the reporting and analytics landscape.
- You support the expansion of BI governance, reporting standards and a future-proof, AI-ready BI platform.
Qualifications:
- Completed studies (Uni/ETH, FH, HF) in business informatics, data science, business administration or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling or a comparable environment.
- Fluent German skills as well as ideally French skills.
- Profound understanding of business processes and key figures, preferably in supply chain operations or finance, and the ability to translate business requirements into sustainable BI and analytics solutions.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric (Warehouse, Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2), Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate as well as SAP and very good SQL skills including data modelling and view optimisation.
- Very good skills in Power BI (semantic models, Power Query, DAX) as well as a structured, independent working style and interest in BI standards, data quality, governance and AI-ready data landscapes.
