Your tasks as Sous Chef
- Operational management & responsibility of the kitchen and organizational leadership of the kitchen staff
- Ensuring a smooth process in daily operations (mise en place, service, production)
- Representing the head chef in their absence
- Responsibility for quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
- Compliance with and control of all hygiene and safety standards (HACCP)
- Training, guidance, and support of the kitchen team
- Ordering, checking, and proper storage of goods
- Cost awareness: support with goods usage, portioning, and efficiency
- Active participation in daily business
