Your Role In this hybrid role, you combine business analysis in larger digitalisation and application projects with responsibility for selected specialist applications. You accompany solutions from requirements gathering through implementation to operation and further development.
The IT team of the City of Bülach is the central ICT contact point for over 800 employees. Together we actively shape business processes, support the specialist departments in their daily work, and drive the digitalisation of the city forward. Currently, the area of responsibility includes around 1,500 notebooks, two data centres, a versatile application landscape, and the associated network infrastructure. Your Role
In this hybrid role, you combine business analysis in larger digitalisation and application projects with responsibility for selected specialist applications. You accompany solutions from requirements gathering through implementation to operation and further development.

analyse and further develop our business processes
- identify optimisation and digitalisation potentials and support the specialist departments in digitalising and further developing their processes
- gather requirements from our specialist departments, structure and document them, and develop suitable solution approaches
- translate business needs into understandable and actionable requirements for ICT and our external partners
- accompany projects from the initial idea through implementation to introduction
- support evaluations, tests, acceptances, rollouts, and training
- support and further develop selected specialist applications throughout their lifecycle and coordinate updates, releases, interfaces, and changes
- analyse causes of disruptions and coordinate remediation with internal or external parties as needed
- act as the contact person for our specialist departments and software partners and coordinate collaboration between the parties involved
- ensure that our applications and associated processes are documented in a comprehensible manner
- keep an eye on maintenance contracts, licences, and external services
Your Profile
- completed training or degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification
- at least 3 years of practical experience in business analysis of digitalisation or application projects, especially in gathering, structuring, and coordinating business requirements with various stakeholders
- an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style and enjoyment in mediating between business and technology
- team-oriented working style, high quality awareness, as well as good coordination and communication skills
- very good oral and written expression in German
