The Relational Health Unit (USR) brings together three specialised outpatient services: the Couples and Families Consultation (CCF), the Service for Perpetrators of Domestic Violence (SAVC) and the Psychotraumatology Consultation (CPT).
The unit offers coordinated care for people facing traumatic experiences, psychological, physical, sexual, economic or social violence, as well as relational, emotional and family difficulties.
The CPT welcomes patients presenting disorders related to psychotrauma, using an integrative, relational and recovery-oriented approach. Clinical work pays particular attention to issues of safety, stabilisation, therapeutic alliance and continuity of care, in order to support the recovery processes of people confronted with traumatic experiences.
You will join an interdisciplinary team composed of doctors, psychologists and nurses, committed to a clinic of connection, coordination and network work.
As part of your role, you will be expected to:
- Provide nursing support to patients presenting disorders related to psychotrauma;
- Participate in clinical assessment and the development of the interdisciplinary therapeutic project;
- Conduct individual, family and network interviews;
- Support processes of stabilisation, emotional regulation and recovery;
- Co-facilitate verbal and non-verbal therapeutic groups;
- Work closely with socio-health network partners to promote continuity of care;
- Participate in institutional clinical reflection and the development of USR services.
The skills required for this position are as follows:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross;
- Proven clinical experience in adult psychiatry, ideally outpatient;
- Training in psychotraumatology (module 1);
- Interest in relational, systemic and interdisciplinary approaches;
- Ability to work in complex situations involving issues of violence and trauma;
- Organisational skills, autonomy and good collaborative abilities.
