Service Technician Rail Vehicles (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 95,000Role:
In this role, you will complement a small, efficient maintenance team and take on the mobile maintenance of rail vehicles. You diagnose faults of all kinds using modern service tools, create well-founded fault analyses, and carry out repairs independently on site or coordinate the necessary steps to resolve them. You are also responsible for daily technical inspections as well as further maintenance levels on the vehicles according to checklists. Your technical basic training in the mechanical or electrical engineering field, enthusiasm for electrical engineering, electronics and mechanics, as well as several years of professional experience - ideally in railway technology - form the basis. A structured, careful and customer-oriented way of working, high commitment, good German language skills and a car driving licence complete the profile.
Responsibilities:
- You strengthen our mobile maintenance team for railway vehicles as a rail vehicle service technician.
- You diagnose faults on rail vehicles using modern service tools and create reliable reports.
- You independently resolve faults and repairs directly on site or coordinate the necessary steps for resolution.
- In this role, you carry out daily technical inspections on the entrusted vehicles as specified.
- As a rail vehicle service technician, you undertake more in-depth maintenance work on the vehicles according to checklists.
Qualifications:
- Completed basic training as a mechatronics technician, electromechanical technician, diagnostician, automation technician or comparable technical/mechanical training
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in railway technology
- Strong technical understanding and enthusiasm for electrical engineering, electronics and mechanics; further training as a technician is an advantage
- Motivation for independent, customer-oriented assignments in mobile maintenance and a careful, structured way of working
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written
- Valid car driving licence; training as a qualified freight wagon brake operator is an advantage
