The communities of Birmensdorf and Aesch are located near Zurich on the sunny side of the Uetliberg. The approximately 2,300 church community members, our pastor, and the beautifully situated church look forward to a new pastor (70% employment, 60% cantonal church + 10% community-owned pastoral position) who will shape and further develop the future of the church community with us.

We offer a pastoral position

with general pastoral duties such as services, ceremonies, and pastoral care
with a focus on work with the elderly
with room to contribute your own ideas and strengths
in an active community
with a committed pastoral colleague, motivated staff, and volunteers
with development opportunities in community building

You are a personality

with high social competence and empathy in dealing with people
who proclaims the gospel clearly and relevantly
who complements the pastoral colleague in their strengths and works together
who maintains proven practices and further develops new ones
for whom co-shaping community life is important
who is open to ecumenical and inter-community cooperation
